Ups and Downs in Apartments

According to CMHC statistics, our apartment vacancy rate has dropped from 7.5% to 4.6% over the past 7 years...good news. The downside is in comparison to other Northern Ontario communities we've gone from the 2nd lowest vacany rate to the 3rd highest... not so good. However, we have remained fairly consistent with a variation of only 3% compared to say Sudbury at 9.5% change and Sault Ste. Marie at 16%.This could imply that we are stable OR the other communities are experiencing rapid growth.I guess it depends how you want to spin it.
