A Consistent and Balanced Market

One thing for certain about our market is it's consistency. Year after year our sales volume is roughly the same with a modest increase in market values.As an example,there were 208 sales between Sept-1-05 to Oct-20-05 and 211 this year in the same time period. We are all aware of the booming Alberta market and look on with some envy,however, there is comfort in knowing that if we buy at the top or sell at the bottom of our market, the bite will not be as bad as it would be in a Calgary market if things go sour.There will be a time when we will be recognized as a market of great value with great amenities, so perhaps it's a good idea to keep it to ourselves and let the rest of the country outbid each other while we just enjoy what we have.
